Inês sapeta dias

PhD in Communication Sciences (2018) at Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas, Universidade Nova de Lisboa (NOVA/FCSH), with a thesis on film programming (with support from the FCT and supervised by João Mário Grilo). Inês Sapeta Dias is a film programmer since 2004, first at Filmoteca de Catalunya (Barcelona), and then mainly at the Video Library of the Lisbon Municipal Archive, where she was recently responsible for launching projects such as Traça - Mostra de Filmes de Arquivos Familiar, Topografias Imaginárias, and What is the Archive? In 2011 she was given carte blanche from the Cinemateca Portuguesa to program five sessions, and in 2012 she co-programmed a retrospective of Portuguese documentary cinema at the États Généraux du Film Documentaire in Lussas (France). In 2008 she finished her first film, Retrato de Inverno de uma paisagem ardida (16mm, 40'), which had the financial support of ICA/RTP and has been screened at national and international film festivals and exhibitions.
